  Benefits of Massage
Massage can benefit your animal in countless aspects from behavior, to performance, to digestion, etc. A therapeutic massage will do the following:

Aid in circulation so that injuries will heal more rapidly,

Improve muscle tone and range of motion,

Help alleviate muscle spasms,

Decrease inflammation and swelling in joints through increased production of synovial fluid,

Encourage circulation in the lymphatic system, thus hastening the removal of toxins,

Extend connective tissue, break up and help avoid adhesions, and lower the risk of fibrosis,

Ease stress,

Promote trust and bonding,

Increase socialization,

Better the all around

temperment of the animal

Through the above benefits your animal’s overall health will dramatically improve. Also, massage is non-addictive unlike unnatural supplements and medications, so it will never get old- massage will always show great results!

  How it Works

The body is composed of roughly 60% muscle, so more than half of it is dependant on that system. Since every muscle is connected to another, a problem with one muscle will be compensated for by another; thus leading to problems in many areas including other systems of the body.
Through a series of therapeutic touches the muscles are induced into relaxation and areas of tension are broken up, thus eliminating toxins which may also have been causing problems.
With each muscle able to thoroughly relax, proper function is permitted. This will allow synchronised motion throughout the body.

"Massage is putting the letter 'T' in front of  'OUCH' so that it becomes TOUCH"

When to Use
Always!

Massage should be used:

-Before and after competition
-For the correction of injured
  and damaged muscles
-For alleviating lameness
-As a preventative method
-To establish and maintain
  proper muscle function and
  balance
-In addition to your animal’s existing health care routine

There are even several specific massage techniques to be used for colic and tying up in horses. The only times massage should not be used are during shock, fever, and cancer. The acceleration of bodily processes can cause detrimental effects in these situations.
